The collision happened on the 3000 block of South 10th Street at 7:23 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
The victim was transported by Philadelphia Fire Department medics to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:12 p.m., authorities said.
The driver remained at the scene as officers secured the area. The Crash Investigation Division continues to investigate.
